CCAF General Education Mobile (GEM)
At Strayer University

  • Strayer University is proud to be one of a select few academic institutions invited to participate in the Community College of the Air Force's (CCAF) General Education Mobile (GEM) program.

Through the GEM program, Airmen can complete CCAF's 15 semester hours of general education requirements, at any Strayer University campus or from anywhere in the world with Internet access.

In many circumstances, the final 15 semester hours most CCAF students need to complete in order to earn their AAS degree are the five general education courses that include: writing skills, oral communication, mathematics, social sciences, and humanities.

Strayer University offers a variety of general education courses that are pre-approved by CCAF. See below to review your academic options and then get started today by filling out the form at right. Students taking courses at Strayer for transfer back to their home college should enroll as a non-degree-seeking student.
